Further, different indigenous tree species also planted in the hill forest area to mark the event. Students also received hands-on training in the use of GPS for forest inventory plots, location tracking, tree measurement, and the use of drones for forest assessment. The logistics and equipment used for forest assessments and forest restoration were supported by the FORSU project through funding from the ERASMUS+European Union.
